Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 23, 2026  ·  FutureSide LLC (doing business as FutureSide Studios)

Your trust means the world to us. This page explains, in plain and friendly language, what information we gather when you visit, why we gather it, and how we keep it safe. No fine print, no confusing words — just an honest note, teacher to friend.

1. Hello — Here's Who We Are

This website (jackswindow.com) is run by FutureSide LLC, a small Washington State company based in Kirkland, Washington, doing business as FutureSide Studios ("we," "us," or "our"). We share the Jack's Window children's phonics series, written by Nancy Coury and illustrated by Taylor Lombardi.

2. What We Collect

We only gather information when you choose to share it with us through one of our forms:

  • Contact & inquiry forms — your name, email address, and your message.
  • Newsletter sign-up — your name and email address.
  • Story Circle / Memory submissions — your name, school details, years taught, and the memory you'd like to share.
  • Pre-order interest forms — your name, email address, and what you're hoping to order.

We never handle your payment card details ourselves. Any purchases go through BookBaby's secure checkout.

3. How We Use It

We use what you share only to:

  • Reply to your questions and requests.
  • Send you newsletters or book news — but only if you've asked for them.
  • Show approved classroom memories on the site (always with your okay).
  • Help with rights, media, or bulk-order requests.

We will never sell, rent, or hand off your personal information to anyone else for their own marketing. That's a promise.

4. The Helpers We Work With

Like most small businesses, we rely on a few trusted helpers to keep things running:

  • Zoho CRM helps us keep track of messages and form submissions. Their handling of data is covered by the Zoho Privacy Policy.
  • Replit, Inc. hosts our website. Their servers may note basic things like IP addresses and browser type as part of normal hosting.
  • Google Analytics helps us understand which pages visitors enjoy most (more on that just below).

5. Cookies & Google Analytics

Our website uses a small session cookie to keep our forms secure (this is called CSRF protection). We do not use any advertising cookies.

We do use Google Analytics 4 to learn how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are most popular and roughly where in the world our readers are visiting from. This helps us make the website better over time. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your device type, browser, general location, and the pages you view. It does not tell us your name, and we use it only to understand overall trends, never to identify you personally.

If you'd prefer not to be measured by Google Analytics, you're welcome to install Google's free opt-out browser add-on. You can learn more about how Google handles data in the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Caring for Children's Privacy

This website is made for grown-ups — parents, teachers, and book lovers. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. When a classroom memory is shared, it should come from a teacher, parent, or guardian on the child's behalf.

7. How Long We Keep Things

We hold on to your information only as long as we need it to answer your question or do what you asked. Whenever you like, you can ask us to delete it, and we'll happily take care of that.

8. Your Choices & Rights

This is your information, and you're always in charge of it. You can reach out anytime to:

  • See what personal information we have about you.
  • Ask us to fix or delete it.
  • Unsubscribe from any newsletter or email list.

9. A Note for Our Friends in Canada

We're delighted to welcome readers from across the United States and Canada. If you're visiting from Canada, you have the rights described under Canada's privacy law, PIPEDA — including the right to access the personal information we hold, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent at any time. We handle your information with the same care no matter which side of the border you call home. Just reach out and we'll help.

10. How to Reach Us

Have a privacy question or request? We'd love to hear from you. Please use the Get in Touch form on our homepage, or write to us at:

FutureSide LLC (FutureSide Studios)
Kirkland, Washington, USA

11. Little Updates Now and Then

From time to time we may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you're okay with the updated version.

Thank you for trusting us with your visit. If anything here is ever unclear, please don't hesitate to ask — we're real people, and we're always happy to help. 💛
